Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Membership of a professional body where applicable.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in a complex commercial environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing financial and operational drivers.
• Experience in contract-based outsourcing or bidding environments.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills translating data into insight.
• Proactive, resilient and collaborative with continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and contract leaders to provide commercial and financial insight.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the portfolio.
• Provide robust financial analysis, scenario modelling and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs and optimise contract performance.
• Support commercial negotiations including variations, extensions and change notices.
• Monitor financial and commercial risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with the Finance Hub to ensure accurate reporting.
• Utilise data analytics to improve financial decision making.
• Present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across operations, commercial and finance teams.
