Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Counselling skills training.
• Involvement, Experience or Participation training.

Responsibilities

• Manage social visitor accreditation with social workers and security.
• Act as Ward Carer Link in the Triangle of Care agenda – provide 1:1 support and organise staff sessions.
• Improve patient and carer experience and ward communication.
• Organise interpreters for social visits and assist with MS Teams interpreters.
• Navigate RIO to access patient information and feedback to MDT.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and safeguard responsibilities.
• Support ward visits and carer involvement events at Rampton Hospital.
