Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Carer & Patient Experience Worker to join the Carer & Patient Experience Team at Rampton Hospital. You will support carers, families and volunteers to engage with patient care and involvement strategies while strengthening the carer network around patients.

You will act as a link between patient wards and other departments, organise sessions and visits, and help improve the overall visitor experience and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee social visitor accreditation via liaison with social workers and security.
• Act as Ward Carer Link for TOC, provide 1:1 support and organise staff sessions.
• Improve patient and carer experience and ward communication.
• Facilitate onsite visits for social visitors and patients, including on-site child and virtual visits.
• Arrange interpreters for social visits and support ward staff with MS Teams interpreters.
• Navigate clinical systems (RIO) to obtain patient information before visits.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and safeguarding of confidential information.
