Veritas Education is recruiting a Year 3 Class Teacher for a primary school in Accrington, starting January 2027. The role is part-time, three days per week (0.6/0.8) with potential to add a Year 2 day and move to four days.

You will teach Year 3, plan engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and work closely with a teaching partner to ensure continuity across the week, within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to share class responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Teach Year 3 three days per week (0.6/0.8).
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet all learners' needs.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to support individual development.
• Work with the Year 3 partner to ensure continuity across the week.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom with high expectations.
