Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is recruiting a Yard Sales Advisor for our Plymouth branch. This part-time role (30 hours/week) offers flexible hours Monday–Friday with every other Saturday morning. You will assist customers, maintain yard standards, and support loading/unloading operations with forklift training provided.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge every customer and assess needs to deliver quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements for customers.
• Maintain high standards across yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as needed.
• Develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Load and unload vehicles, both manually and with forklift (training provided).
