Hull College is seeking a Work Placement Officer in Building Technologies to arrange and monitor industry placements for full-time students. You will work to source learners, pre-screen candidates and facilitate pre-interview preparation to ensure high-quality placements supporting learners and local businesses.

The role is 22 hours per week, fixed-term until end of March 2027, with a salary corresponding to the FTE and a commitment to safeguarding and maintaining auditable records of learner

Qualifikationen

• Practical experience working in industry.
• Understanding of T Levels and industry placements requirements (e.g., safeguarding, placement hours, employer engagement).
• Experience in liaising with employers and supporting students in finding and completing placements.

Aufgaben

• Arrange and monitor extended work placements for full-time students.
• Manage a caseload of learners with supervision to agreed timescales and standards.
• Handle risk assessments and Health & Safety concerns for students in workplaces.
