Job summary

Leeds College of Building is seeking a Placement Coordinator to identify and secure Industry Placement opportunities for Construction and T Level learners, matching students to employers and acting as the primary contact throughout the placement process.

You will collaborate with employers and college teams to ensure placements meet funding, Health & Safety, and safeguarding requirements while supporting learners to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar placement/coordinator role is valuable, with openness to diverse educational backgrounds.

Placement Coordinator

Salary £30,246 - £32,006 per annum

HOURS: 37 hours per week

This role involves identifying and securing Industry Placement opportunities for students, matching learners to employers as an employer and learner-facing point of contact. You will be working within the Construction Industry Placement and T Level Placement funded provision, ensuring full compliance with funding requirements, Health & Safety protocols and safeguarding responsibilities throughout the placement process.

You will be required to:

  • Work with existing and new employers to generate placements for full time and T-Level students.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure placements are matched to placement ready learners.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with employers

Experience within a similar background is invaluable, however, all relevant educational experience will be considered.
