Job summary

South Hampstead High School, part of the GDST, is seeking a Weekend Duty Manager to ensure safe, secure and efficient operation of the Senior School site at weekends. You will manage lettings, coordinate reception and premises staff, and act as the on-site operational lead with a focus on customer service and safety.

The role requires experience in facilities or venue management, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, premises management, site operations or a similar operational role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors.
• First Aid at Work qualification desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications and Fire Warden experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekend lettings and events to ensure smooth running.
• Be the main point of contact for external hirers.
• Coordinate reception, premises and staff.
• Oversee site security, maintenance coordination and health and safety.
• Respond to operational issues with initiative to keep the site functioning smoothly.
