Job summary

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part-time triage assessment practitioner in the urgent care services across Harrogate ED and Ripon UTC. You will be responsible for initial assessment and prioritisation of patients with minor injuries and illness, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or HCPC registered professional required.
• Desirable teaching/mentoring qualification for progression.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment of patients with minor injuries/illness.
• Assessment, streaming and referral of acutely unwell patients.
• Under supervision, develop treatment plans and discharge advice.
• Contribute to meeting KPIs within stated timeframes.
