Job summary

Eurochange Ltd is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Assistant in Basildon (Eastgate). The role covers 16 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern including weekends. You will be the face of our travel money bureau, delivering friendly service and expert advice while building rapport with customers.

With full training, you’ll handle transactions, answer questions about rates and products, and help keep the bureau secure and welcoming. A minimum of 1 year retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales.
• Accurate cash handling and till operation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding, friendly service that turns first-time customers into loyal clients.
• Build genuine rapport to understand travel money needs and offer the best products.
• Explain currency options and exchange rates to help customers get the best value.
• Process transactions accurately while complying with financial regulations.
• Keep the bureau secure, presentable and welcoming at all times.
• Promote additional products and services to enhance each customer’s journey.
• Provide support during onboarding and assist nearby branches as needed.
