Job summary

Darrick Wood Junior School in Bromley is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, working as a 1:1 support and with small groups to assist pupils with their learning needs. The role requires a caring, inclusive approach and a commitment to promoting wellbeing.

The successful candidate will deliver maths and speech and language interventions where appropriate, work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo/Inclusion Manager, and contribute to a positive learning

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering maths interventions would be desirable.
• Experience with speech and language interventions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to children as directed by the class teacher.
• Work with small groups to support learning activities.
• Assist with general care and supervision of pupils.
• Deliver targeted learning interventions under the SENDCo/Inclusion Manager.
