Job summary

London Borough of Bromley is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant at Darrick Wood Junior School to join a supportive team and work under teachers and the SENDCo/Inclusion Manager. The role involves mainly 1:1 support with children and occasional small-group work, in a 39-week year.

The successful candidate will help deliver maths and speech and language interventions where possible, promote wellbeing and positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and contribute to an inclusive

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a 1:1 basis with children and with small groups.
• Experience delivering maths and speech and language interventions would be desirable.
• Support learning and wellbeing while promoting positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work under the leadership of class teachers and SENDCo/Inclusion Manager.
• Provide interventions and supervise children's learning and general care.
• Work well in a team and independently.
