Turnfurlong Infant School in Aylesbury is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team, initially supporting Year 2 in KS1. You will work alongside teachers and other TAs to support teaching and learning.

This permanent part-time role is 13 hours per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm during term time. The role involves Read Write Inc phonics, group and 1:1 support, and helping foster a positive, inclusive classroom.

Competenze

• Experience supporting KS1 pupils is preferred.
• Ability to work with class teachers and SENDCo to raise attainment.
• Commitment to promoting inclusion and pupil independence.

Mansioni

• Work closely with a class teacher and year group leader to support teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Work with small groups and individual children across the curriculum.
• Teach Read Write Inc phonics sessions.
• Supervise children at playtime and lunchtime.
• Support teachers to maintain a positive, safe learning environment.
• Prepare and maintain classroom materials and displays.
