Job summary

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School in St Albans is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff and learners. You will assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, prepare resources, and provide pastoral support to pupils. Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C or above including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, whole-class and individual.
• Preparing resources to support learning activities.
• Providing pastoral support and feedback to the class teacher to meet learning needs.
