Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream Primary School in Abergavenny. The role starts ASAP and involves assisting within a specific year group, providing general classroom support to pupils with varied needs, and staying flexible across daily activities.

You will join a supportive team with access to CPD, competitive pay rates, and a referral scheme. This position is paid on a PAYE basis with standard UK tax/National Insurance deductions.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis, starting ASAP and supporting within a specific year group. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide general classroom support to pupils with various needs, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to different situations are essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils with a variety of needs
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
