Job summary

St Edmund's Catholic Primary School, Skelmersdale, Lancashire, is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support pupils across learning activities. Qualifications

• Supports children in learning within class, small group or 1-to-1 contexts.
• Must be patient, calm and understanding, with ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to establish positive relationships and report progress to the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils to complete structured learning activities.
• Support behaviour, personal and social development including for SEN/bilingual pupils.
• Cover duties as required (breakfast/lunch/after-school) and work across EYFS to KS2 where needed.
