The Priory Primary School in Tadley is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team for 3 days per week during term time. You will support pupils across the curriculum, working with individuals, small groups and classes to help them access learning, build confidence and develop independence.

You will work with class teachers to promote positive behaviour, assist with literacy and numeracy, and prepare learning resources while monitoring progress and safeguarding pupils

Formación

• Experience supporting learning and development across the curriculum.
• Ability to assist with literacy and numeracy programmes.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND).
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Experience preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom organisation.
• Ability to observe and share progress with teaching staff for planning.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting delivery of engaging learning activities across curriculum areas.
• Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy and other learning programmes.
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEND).
• Promoting positive behaviour and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom organisation.
• Observing pupil progress and communicating with teachers to support assessment and planning.
• Supporting pupil wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
• Supervising pupils during educational visits and school activities.
• Collaborating with staff, parents and external professionals to achieve best outcomes.
