Job summary

The Priory CE VA Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join from January 2027 (or as soon as possible). The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, with responsibilities across EY, KS1 and KS2 and potential SEN support. Lunchtime supervision is also part of the role.

Vacancy: Teaching Assistant

• 30 Hours/Week; 8:35am-3:20pm; Permanent

We are looking for a highly motivated teaching assistant to join us from January 2027, or as soon as possible afterwards, on a 30 hours per week contract. The post is Monday to Friday, term time only.

• The prime responsibility will be to provide class-based learning support for children in EY, KS1 or KS2.
• There may also be a significant element of supporting children with special educational needs.
• Supervising children at lunchtime is also a key requirement of the role.
