Job summary

Freedom Leisure is looking for a Swim Teacher to deliver swimming lessons across our leisure centres. You will teach customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring safety and helping learners achieve their goals. Training is provided to support your development.

The role offers 6 hours per week with flexible surroundings and a supportive team. We value inclusivity and great customer service, and the salary is up to £19.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers and parents.
• Ability to work with children and adults in a leisure-centre setting.
• DBS check required for safeguarding.
• Level 2 swimming teaching qualification or willingness to gain qualification.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and adults as part of the centre programme.
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians.
• Assist in supervising the pool area and ensure safety and discipline.
• Provide high-quality customer service and support learners.
