Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking an Assistant Swim Teacher to support our Swim Teachers in delivering lessons across all ages and abilities, ensuring participants feel supported and are achieving their goals while maintaining a safe environment.

We provide training and a DBS check, with a welcoming team across centres in England and Wales. Hours are part-time (up to 5 hours per week), on a rota basis, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Level 1 Swim Teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• To assist children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
• To communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
• To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
