Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Swim Teacher to deliver swimming lessons at our leisure centres. You will teach children and adults, ensuring learners are supported and progressing toward goals with a strong emphasis on safety and customer care.

The role requires a Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and an Enhanced DBS check. Welsh language skills are desirable, and the position offers flexibility with a rota-based 8 hours per week across an Mobil/UK-wide network.

Qualifications

• To deliver swimming lessons to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s programme, according to qualification and experience.
• Excellent communication with parents/guardians about progress and development.
• Ability to supervise pool area with safety and discipline.
• Welsh language skills are desirable.
• Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and adults under the Leisure Centre programme.
