Dimensions is hiring a Female Support Worker in Basildon. This part-time role offers 22.5 hours weekly, with a current payrate of £14.01 rising to £14.59 from 1 October 2026. You will provide compassionate, skilled support to a woman in her 60s, helping with daily living, routines, meals, and community activities.

You'll work with an experienced team, receive training, DBS support, and benefits including discounts and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, or distressed behaviours.
• Patient, resilient and compassionate approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide consistent, skilled support during behaviours of distress.
• Encourage and support development of daily living skills.
• Assist with meal planning, cooking, medication administration and healthcare appointments.
• Maintain structured routines to promote wellbeing and manage transitions.
• Support mobility and use of mobility equipment when needed.
• Build meaningful relationships with family and community.
• Help access social, leisure and community activities.
