Job summary

Custom Links Care is seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in Basildon and surrounding areas. We support adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities, promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

Role involves assisting with daily routines, personal care where required, meal prep, household tasks and helping individuals access local activities. Training and ongoing support are provided, with weekly shifts pattern and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to work in care/support settings.
• Ability to follow care plans and risk assessments.
• Commitment to promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily routines and personal care.
• Encourage independence and assist with decision-making.
• Help with meals, household tasks and daily living activities.
• Support access to community and social activities.
• Develop life skills and support personal goals.
• Provide patient, respectful, and safeguarding consistent support.
• Follow support plans and relevant procedures.
