Job summary

CJP Outreach Services in Great Cornard, Sudbury, is seeking a Part-Time Support Worker with a full UK driving licence to join our new service supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will build trusting relationships, promote independence and help individuals live meaningful lives.

You will work day and waking-night shifts, provide daily living support, assist with community access, and contribute to Positive Behaviour Support alongside PBS leads.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and positive in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, respectful and positive relationships with the people you support.
• Assist with daily routines, personal care and accessing the community.
• Encourage independence and support personal goals.
• Work with PBS leads to understand and reduce behaviours of concern.
• Provide structured, reliable support to help build independence over time.
