Direct Services Department - Leicestershire County Council in Hinckley is seeking a part-time Support Worker for a 22.5-hour contract. You will provide day-to-day support to adults with disabilities in a supported living setting and help with personal care, promoting independence and choice.

Full training is provided; DBS checks and training costs are covered. The role offers a pathway within a large public sector organisation and pension scheme benefits.

Competenze

• Commitment to providing high quality care and support which maximises independence.
• Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and relevant regulations.
• Ability to use equipment to assist with moving and handling and support people with complex needs.
• Good communication and organisational skills; able to work flexible hours and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Deliver day-to-day care and support to adults with disabilities in a supported living environment.
• Assist with personal care and promote choice and independence while maximizing autonomy.
• Work as part of a team and participate in a 24/7 rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Attend training and adhere to the Council’s codes of conduct and safeguarding policies.
