Direct Services Department - Leicestershire County Council in Hinckley is seeking a part-time Support Worker for a 30-hour-per-week contract to provide high-quality care and support for adults with disabilities in a supported living environment. The role offers training, mentorship, and a pathway within a large public sector organisation.

You will assist with personal care, promote independence and choice, and work flexibly within a 24/7 service. DBS checks and training costs are covered.

• Commitment to high quality care and support
• Ability to use available equipment for moving and handling
• Effective communication skills with service users including alternative methods
• Good organisational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/bank holidays

• Deliver day-to-day care and support to adults with disabilities in a supported living environment
• Provide assistance with personal care and promote independence and choice
• Work as part of a team to meet changing needs and respond to crises
• Maintain clear, concise records and complete IT/Written tasks
• Attend training and participate in a service rota including weekends and public holidays
