Job summary

Cornerstone's Team NLStrathclyde in Airdrie is recruiting a part-time Support Practitioner to help a gentleman with complex needs in his own home. The role is 18-26 hours per week, with shifts starting at 10am or 4:30pm, and may include a sleepover.

No prior care experience is required—full training, including a funded SVQ qualification, is provided. You must have a full UK manual driving licence to support activities including hydrotherapy and community outings.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; full training and funded SVQ available.
• Must have a full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to learn and develop through the SVQ.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily activities in the client’s home.
• Assist with cooking and meal preparation.
• Support attendance at clubs and hydrotherapy sessions.
• Build a genuine relationship and promote independence.
