Job summary

Cornerstone (Aberdeen) is hiring a part-time Support Practitioner to help people with disabilities live independently at home and in their communities. You will work on-site in Dumbarton, supporting daily activities, meals, and outings while fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

The role offers flexible hours (16–30 per week), and requires joining the SSSC within 3 months, with potential SVQ development and career progression. Driving may be beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with individuals and families.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support people with disabilities.
• Willingness to learn and follow safeguarding and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with physical and learning disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily tasks, routines, and activities to promote independence.
• Follow care plans and document progress and changes.
