Family Action is seeking a Family Time Supervisor in Hertfordshire to help deliver supervised Family Time for children and families referred by social workers. The role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming space and building trusting relationships while adhering to safeguarding protocols.

You will work with the Team Manager and Hertfordshire Children’s Services, managing sessions, producing court-relevant reports, and traveling to other areas as needed.

Responsabilidades

• To support the delivery of safe and effective supervised Family Time sessions.
• To promote and maintain Family Time arrangements that are agreed between all parties including respecting the wishes of children and young people.
• To comply with safeguarding procedures, undertake risk assessments and mitigate identified risks.
• To assess parenting quality observed during Family Time and complete timely reports as required by the court.
• To ensure all supervised sessions are positive experiences for children and young people.
• To recognise risks of harm and intervene to safeguard children.
• To keep records using Family Action systems, maintaining confidentiality and data sharing protocols.
• To travel to supervised sessions in other areas when required.
• To contribute to information collection and provide accurate reports to commissioners and the judiciary.
• To engage in supervision, training and appraisal to maintain high practice standards.
• To comply with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion policies and Health & Safety, Data Protection policies.
