Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a Family Time Supervisor to support children and families by supervising contact sessions, ensuring safety, and maintaining clear records. Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families in need; safeguarding practices.
• Strong IT, verbal communication, listening and observation skills.
• Capacity to work flexibly and with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and facilitate contact sessions in various settings, ensuring child safety and providing transport.
• Manage challenging situations and stop contact when not in the child’s best interest.
• Prepare for and document contacts accurately within agreed timescales and policy requirements.
• Build effective relationships with parents, social workers, foster carers and children; report concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, attending meetings and training, complying with policies.
