Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Gloucestershire on a part-time permanent basis. The role involves leading a small team during shifts, maintaining store operations, supporting customer service, and contributing to community engagement and membership growth.

You’ll work a mix of early and late shifts, with at least two closing shifts and some weekend work, and you’ll be part of a network that values members and local communities.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
