Job summary

Kingswood is seeking a well-qualified and experienced Learning Support teacher for the 2026/27 academic year, focusing on pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD. The role requires a Level 5 SpLD teaching qualification and experience in a supportive, inclusive classroom.

A postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification would be an advantage for assessing access arrangements, and the post is part-time (three days per week: Tue, Wed, Thu).

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5).
• Postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification is an advantage for access arrangements.
• Experience supporting pupils with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised learning support to pupils with SLD.
• Assess and implement access arrangements where appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers to enable full academic potential.
