Job summary

Kingswood is seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher to join the Learning Support Department, supporting pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties to reach their full academic potential.

The successful candidate must hold Level 5 SpLD teaching qualification, with a postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification advantageous for access arrangements. The role is part-time for three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu) for 2026/27, with safeguarding checks required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5).
• Postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification advantageous for access arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD, ADHD) to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Department to implement individualized plans.
• Contribute to safeguarding and DBS checks as part of recruitment.
