Job summary

LAIDLAW EDUCATION LLP is recruiting a qualified SpLD (Level 5 or above) Specialist Teacher Dyslexia and Special Needs to join our team for September 2026. Daytime teaching, with potential after-school, Saturday, and holiday sessions, and travel to our CReSTeD Teaching Centre in Kew, Richmond.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work with a professional team and tailor personalised lessons to each pupil's needs, including pupils with ADHD or ASD.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 or above SpLD specialist teaching qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a professional team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised lessons on an individual basis tailored to each pupil's needs.
• Teach daytime and potential after-school, Saturday and holiday sessions.

Job description

Due to expansion, LAIDLAW EDUCATION LLP is looking to recruit a qualified SpLD (Level 5 or above) Specialist Teacher Dyslexia and Special Needs teacher to join our friendly team in September 2026.

The closing date for applications is 9 th July 2026.

We would consider newly qualified specialists.

Daytime work (with potential for after‑school, Saturday, and holiday teaching). Must be able to travel to our CReSTeD Teaching Centre in Kew, Richmond, TW9.

The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator, able to work alongside a professional team with energy and enthusiasm. Must have experience teaching pupils across a range of ages; experience teaching children with ADHD or ASD is an advantage. Must deliver personalised lessons on a predominantly individual basis, tailored to each pupil’s needs, during term time. Opportunities for teaching mainstream children are also available, if suitably qualified and experienced.
