Job summary

Kingswood is seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher to join the Learning Support Department for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD to help them reach their full academic potential.

The successful candidate must hold a Level 5 qualification for teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties, with a postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualification in teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5).
• Postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Relevant experience in learning support across a range of needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties to reach their full academic potential.
• Collaborate with Learning Support colleagues to implement access arrangements and targeted interventions.
• Contribute to an inclusive and caring educational environment.
