Job summary

Royal Voluntary Service is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Perth & Kinross team. This 24-hour per week, part-time role involves coordinating groups for older people, delivering activities, and supporting volunteers. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with mileage reimbursed.

The post is permanent with a salary of £13.49 per hour (£24,552 p.a. FTE). Applicants should be organised, communicative and able to use IT systems for data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with older people.
• Experience with people living with dementia or carers is advantageous.
• Ability to use standard IT systems (MS Office, Word, Excel) and client databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate groups for older people across Perth & Kinross.
• Recruit, train and support volunteers for groups.
• Deliver high‑quality activities based on best practice and feedback.
• Maintain data and statistics for reporting.
• Support service management and comply with policies and procedures.
• Participate in fundraising activities as agreed.
