Job summary

Link Academy Trust seeks a Temporary Part-time SENDCo across its East Devon primary schools. The role supports SEND learners, works with inclusion partners, and fosters collaboration across Farway, Broadhembury, Branscombe and Woodbury Salterton.

The successful candidate will be a qualified SENDCo or actively pursuing NPQ SENCO, with deep knowledge of the SEND code of practice and a commitment to high-quality, inclusive teaching across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• To be a qualified SENDCo or have relevant experience and are currently undertaking an NPQ SENCO qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the SEND code of practice.
• Commitment to developing practice through professional learning to implement current teaching strategies.
• Understanding of how pupils learn and commitment to high-quality indoor/outdoor learning opportunities.
• Excellent knowledge of inclusive practice, adaptive teaching and the graduated approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead SENDCo across our East Devon schools (Farway, Broadhembury, Branscombe & Woodbury Salterton).
• Improve outcomes for SEND learners across the Trust schools.
• Collaborate with subject leaders and school leaders to ensure the best learning experience for every child.
• Work with our inclusion partner and other schools to share good practice across the Trust.
