Job summary

Farndon Fields Primary School is seeking a motivated SENDCo to join our lively team. The role is part-time (0.5 FTE) for 16.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a fixed-term contract ending 31 December 2027.

The position offers progression within the Senior Leadership Team and a reflective, inclusive learning environment. You will support staff in meeting SEND needs, contribute to a positive school ethos, and plan high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Successful experience teaching primary pupils.
• Clear understanding of SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive ethos with a broad, relevant curriculum.
• Support staff to meet SEND needs and implement personal provision plans.
• Encourage staff to meet statutory SEND responsibilities and high-quality teaching.
• Ensure progress of pupils with SEND is tracked in class.
