Job summary

Dartford Bridge Community Primary School is seeking two Teaching Assistants to join our friendly, inclusive team on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027. One TA will work in Nursery and the other in Year 3, supporting pupils with SEND and helping them access learning.

We value enthusiasm, patience and the ability to build positive relationships with children, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and a collaborative teaching approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate with children.
• Commitment to safeguarding and safer working practices.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class, small groups or individually to access learning.
• Assist the class teacher with preparing resources and maintaining the learning environment.
• Promote positive relationships, emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Support pupils with additional needs under the direction of the teacher or SENCO.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise pupils at break/lunchtimes as required.
