Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Level 3 Nursery Assistants to support early years in Sutton. You will work 1:1 or in small groups in Nursery/EYFS, assisting with phonics and social development, and supporting pupils with SEND. Roles range from flexible part-time to long-term full-time contracts.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 TA qualification, has UK primary experience, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply). Pay is £95–£100 per day depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Recent experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, especially 1:1 support.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support in Nursery/EYFS.
• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Support learning through play and phonics activities.
• Encourage social, emotional development and inclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and staff to monitor progress.
• Help prepare learning resources and activities.
