Job summary

Senovo Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Part-Time SEND Teaching Assistant for Brent to support pupils with additional learning needs in lessons, interventions and small-group activities.

The role is temporary and part-time (2–4 days per week) with PAYE rates at £95–£110 per day, pro rata. Applicants should have relevant experience in a school or related setting; QTS is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience with children or young people in a school, SEN, care, youth, therapy or community setting.
• Reliability, patience, professional boundaries and strong communication.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete Senovo's compliance process.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, consistent classroom, 1:1 or small-group support.
• Follow EHCPs and individual strategies set by teaching and SEN staff.
• Adapt resources and communication so pupils can participate and progress.
• Support positive behaviour, emotional regulation, safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Share useful observations with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral colleagues.
