Job summary

Zest Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a part-time role in Nuneaton. The role supports pupils with varied and complex needs, providing 1:1 and small-group guidance while helping maintain calm routines that foster a safe, productive learning environment.

You will work three days per week, collaborate with teachers and the SENCO, and adapt tasks to meet individual needs. A strong SEND background and a patient, supportive approach are essential to help children build independence

Qualifications

• Strong SEND experience across primary settings.
• Ideally qualified Teaching Assistant, though not essential.
• Clear communication and a patient, supportive approach.
• Ability to adapt tasks and routines for varied needs.

Responsibilities

• SEND support delivered through calm routines and clear expectations.
• 1:1 and small-group guidance that builds confidence and engagement.
• Adapted learning tasks for pupils needing additional help.
• Maintain consistent behaviour and positive approaches in the classroom.
