Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week over 43.8 weeks per year. You will lead kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional food and customer experiences.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, team leadership, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate. You will communicate with your line manager to monitor KPIs and maintain Compass Group UK&I

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience
• Experience managing teams in a similar role
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate held
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service
• Communicating regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Chartwells on behalf of Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Liaising between customers and culinary/service teams to ensure we exceed expectations
• Training and supporting teams, leading from the front to enable excellence
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
