East Sussex County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Caretaker for a small Hadlow Down CE Primary School. The role is 5 hours per week, part-time, with flexible working times to suit other commitments.

You will keep the school grounds tidy, support maintenance and security, liaise with contractors, carry out basic repairs and health and safety checks, and maintain records. Training on COSHH will be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Some literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are desirable to meet record keeping requirements of the post.
• Ability to identify work priorities as well as being able to undertake routine maintenance, basic repairs and DIY tasks.

• Keep the school premises neat and tidy and maintain grounds.
• Liaise with contractors and advise when large repairs are needed.
• Carry out small maintenance repairs and routine DIY tasks.
• Complete health and safety checks and keep records.
