Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Felixstowe is seeking a Sales Assistant to join a busy, community-based store. The role is 13 hours per week, including weekends, with a rota around bank holidays. You’ll deliver friendly, frontline service, handle till duties, and contribute to merchandising and customer engagement in a fast-paced charity shop.

Previous retail experience isn’t essential; enthusiasm, reliability and a can-do attitude are valued. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is not essential; passion and energy to deliver great service are key.
• Ability to guide volunteers and work as part of a team in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and promote the charity’s mission.
• Merchandise donated stock to maximise sales potential.
• Collaborate with E-Commerce team to boost online sales.
• Act as Keyholder and help run the store when manager is absent.
