British Heart Foundation in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Sales Assistant on a part-time basis (14 hours per week) in our busy furniture store. The role is on a 3-month fixed term contract with weekend and bank holiday rotation.

You'll deliver first-class customer service, help merchandise donations, and work with our E-Commerce team to maximise online sales. Previous retail experience isn’t essential; passion and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Retail experience isn’t essential; passion and customer service matter most.
• Able to work across 7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.
• Physically demanding role with lifting large pieces of furniture and donation bags.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and promote our charity’s mission.
• Organise and merchandise donated stock to maximise sales potential.
• Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to maximise online sales.
• Assist on the till and sorting donations.
