Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to join our community-based retail team. The role involves customer service, till operations, stocking donated items and supporting our online store with the E-Commerce team.

You'll need flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays, be 18+, and enjoy a fast-paced environment while helping raise funds for the BHF. Prior retail experience is helpful, but enthusiasm and teamwork matter most.

Qualifications

Previous retail experience isn’t essential; passion, energy and customer service focus matter most.
You’ll be confident within a team and comfortable guiding volunteers on the shop floor.
Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail in every task and a positive, sustainability-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting our charity’s mission.
Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential.
Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to maximise online sales.
As a Keyholder, you’ll be the go-to person when there isn’t a manager on duty, keeping the store running and ensuring a great customer experience.
