Job summary

TEC Partnership is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer for The Grimsby Institute, part‑time (14.5 hours per week) and permanent. You will promote learner safety, wellbeing and success, working with internal teams and external agencies to provide safeguarding guidance and timely intervention.

You will coordinate multi‑agency responses, contribute to child protection and early help processes, and help create a safe, inclusive environment where learners feel supported and protected.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 2 safeguarding qualification.
• Experience as safeguarding lead and multi‑agency working.
• Understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, wellbeing and success of learners.
• Provide safeguarding guidance and timely intervention.
• Coordinate multi‑agency responses and support for vulnerable learners.
• Support creation of a safe, inclusive learning environment.
