Job summary

Deichmann in Chatham is seeking a Retail Supervisor on a maternity cover contract. The role is part time (20 hours per week) at an hourly rate of up to £13.91 plus non-contractual commissions. The successful candidate will support the store management team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers.

The position is based at 40 Pentagon Shopping Centre, Chatham, and offers opportunities for progression within retail. Immediate start date.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to lead, motivate and coach a team.
• Willingness to work across a 7 day week as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Open and close the store, including cashing up and admin duties.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain product knowledge.
• Lead by example to promote complementary products.
• Support management to achieve sales targets and KPI’s.
• Ensure merchandise and displays are welcoming and up to standard.
• Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints.
