Job summary

Deichmann SE in Grimsby is seeking a motivated Retail Supervisor to join our store team on a part-time, temporary basis. You will support the Store Manager, lead a small team and ensure a high standard of customer service on a busy shop floor.

This role offers an hourly rate of up to £13.91 plus non contractual sales commission, with 12 hours a week and a start date of immediate.

Contract runs until 31 December 2026 and provides opportunities to grow within the retail career path.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience and supervisory/leadership skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to lead a team and work calmly under pressure.
• Willingness to work across all store duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Open & close store, cash handling and related admin duties.
• Provide excellent customer service and have strong product knowledge.
• Lead by example to promote complementary products with each sale.
• Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
• Support team members as required.
• Ensure the store is correctly merchandised and displays are inviting.
• Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
• Deal with customer queries and complaints.
